Star Cement signs Debojit as brand Ambassador

Guwahati, May 07 (UNI) The Cement Manufacturing Company Limited (CMCL), with its brand 'Star Cement,' signs the singing sensation of the North East Debojit as its brand Ambassador.

Speaking at a function CMCL vice-president J.S.Agarwal here today said, ''Debojit is a young and successful and Star cement is also a new brand in the region. Therefore we have chosen Debojit as our brand ambassador.'' He expressed hope that this partnership would take Star cement to a newer hights.

The CMCL, with 1800 metric tonnes per day capacity plant in Lumshnong in Meghalaya, launched its operation ourteen months back.

The company has already been bagged ISO 9001 certification for high strength and quality cement, he said adding our product is used by the DGS&D, NF Railway, PWD, NHPC, NEEPCO, ONGC and AAIL and our business network spread beoyon the bounday of the North East to North Bengal.
