Quake jolts Banas Kantha area in Gujarat

New Delhi, May 7 :An earthquake, measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale, shook the Banas Kantha area in Gujarat this morning.

The temblor, which occurred at 1055 hrs, was epicentred at a latitude of 24.2 degree North and a longitude of 72.2 degree east, the India Meteorological Department said.
