Pietersen eyeing to be world's greatest batsman

London, May 7 (UNI) England's middle order mainstay and the pivotal force behind the revival of England's fortunes in the Ashes, Kevin Pietersen today expressed his desire of becoming one of the world's greatest batsmen.

The stylish and flamboyant Pietersen was quoted by The Independent saying ''I go out to win games for England and be one of the greatest batsmen.'' Fondly remembering how his knock of 158 against Australia has changed his fortunes, the Englishman said ''Yes, the Ashes has changed my life.'' But Pietersen said that success has not made him go astray and he has been training harder each day to sustain his form and be a potent force to reckon with in world cricket.

''I haven't let it do is affect the way I train, affect my cricket, affect everything I do to make myself successful.'' ''I know what has brought me success. I was brought up pretty well in terms of everything. I know what has put a pretty nice roof over my head. I know what has got me a lot of the things that I want and this lifestyle, and it is cricket at the end of the day,'' said the hard working cricket sensation.
