One dies, 22 injured in truck accident

Gwalior, May 7 (UNI) One person died and 22 were injured, 13 of them seriously, when a mini-truck overturned after colliding with a pillar near Balwada railway crossing today, 17 km from the district headquarters, police said.

The mini-truck, carrying a marriage party, was heading from Dewas to Rehgaon when the incident occurred.

Dewas' Kumharia village-resident Sukhram Mankar (48) died on the spot, while the rest were admitted to Badwah hospital.

The truck driver is absconding.
