No threat to govt after EC notice: Munda
Ranchi, May 7 : Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda has dismissed any threat to his government following Election Commission (EC) issuing notice aginst NDA MLAs for allegedly holding offices of profit.
The EC has issued notices to four NDA MLAs, including Mr Munda, for holding offices of profit to explain their stance by May 22.
JD(U) legislator Khiru Mahato, who is chairman of Hazaribagh Mines Board, has confirmed receipt of the EC notice but legislators Sarju Rai and Karia Munda were yet to receive the notices.
Mr Munda has already received the notice.
Mr Munda said, ''Everything is fine. We will give all details to the EC. There is no threat to our government.''
