Mysore's water supply distribution system to be remodelled
Mysore, May 7 (UNI) The Mysore City Corporation will take up a Rs 94 crore project to remodel the entire water supply distribution system in the city for ensuring proper drinking water supply to the residents, its Commissioner Dr K S Chandrasekhar announced today.
Participating in a meet-the-press programme, organised by the Mysore District Journalists Association here, he said the project, to be taken up under the Jawaharlal Nehru Urban Renewal Mission, would be finalised at a meeting of the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation tomorrow in Bangalore.
A Rs 90 crore project to provide drinking water to the city from river Kabini was also on the cards, he said.
