Koirala government recalls India ambassador, 11 other envoys
Kathmandu, May 7 (UNI) The Nepalese government today annulled all the political appointments made after the King sacked the elected prime minister on October 4,2002 and ordered recall of 12 ambassadors including Nepalese ambassador to India.
The 12 Nepalese ambassadors recalled are Nepalese ambassador to India Karna Dhoj Adhikari, and ambassadors to the United Kingdom, United States of America, Japan, Russia, France, Thailand, Myanmar, China, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Pakistan.
The decision to this effect was taken by the cabinet meeting held at the residence of Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala this evening.
All the appointments made after the sacking of the elected government and appointed by the King were also annulled.
Home Minister Krishna Sitaula said that the government decided to annul all the decision made by the royal government.
