One person killed and another injured

Mysore, May 6 (UNI) One person was killed on the spot and a woman was injured when they came in contact with live wire at Kebbara village in Maddur taluk in Mandya district late last night.

Police said today that the victims were connecting decorative bulbs for village festival when they came in contact with live wire.

Nagraj died instantly, while Kempamma sustained injuries. She was rushed to Government Hospital in Maddur.
