New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) No First Information Report has yet been filed in the case of a baby who was declared 'stillborn' by doctors at Safdarjang Hospital here but found to be 'alive' as he was about to be buried.

Though the police was informed about yesterday's incident no formal complaint or FIR had been lodged by the parents--R K and Bharti Babbar hailing from Palwal in Haryana--or on their behalf by friends or relatives, police said today.

Hospital sources, without commenting on the incident, however said an internal inquiry had been ordered into the matter.

Bharti had been admitted to the hospital on April 28 and she delivered a premature 'still born' baby boy.

But later when the baby was about to be buried, he was found to be 'alive'.

The baby had since been taken back to the hospital, where he was recuperating from a lung infection.
