M N Krishnamani to be the new President of SCBA

NEW DELHI, May 6 (UNI) Senior counsel M N Krishnamani has been elected as the new President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).

He defeated his closest rival AICC spokesman Dr Abhishek Manu Singhavi in the polling held yesterday in the Supreme Court premises.

Raj Birbal was elected vice-president and K C Kaushik became the new secretary of SCBA. Vikas Bansal is the Treasurer of SCBA for the year 2006-2007.
