K'taka Legislature Secretary suspended

Bangalore, May 6 (UNI) Karnataka Legislative Assembly Secretary T Rajanna was today suspended in connection with misappropriation of funds and misuse of official power.

According to Government order here, the Enquiry Committee found prima facie evidence in eight cases against Mr Rajanna. The case was referred to the Legislature Special Board.

The Board had recommended suspension of Mr Rajanna from service and he has been asked not leave the City without prior permision from the authority.
