Karnataka CM and Dy CM condole death of Pattabhirama Reddy

Bangalore, May 6 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa have condoled death of eminent Kannada and Telugu Film producer T Pattabhirama Reddy who died here today.

In his condolence message, Mr Kumaraswamy said that ''Samaskara' the film directed by Mr Reddy, won the first ever Golden Lotus award to Kannada cinema. The trend set by Pattabhirama Reddy was instrumental in bringing international accolade to Kannada film industry. He was a daring experimentalist and his creative genius stood him in the genre of internationally famous directors.

Condoling the death, Mr Yediyurappa said that by the death of Mr Reddy the State lost a great personality in the film world.
