Pune, May 06 (UNI) Severe heat wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Rajasthan. Heat wave conditions also prevailed in some parts of west Uttar Pradesh, north Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and in remaining parts of Rajasthan.Hot day conditions also prevailed at isolatd places in Marathawada.

Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Gangetic West Bengal, Uttaranchal, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, south Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat State, north Madhya Maharashtra and Vidabha and were above normal in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, coastal Orissa, south Madhya Maharshtra, coastal and south interior Karanataka and Kerala.They were below normal in Bihar, Chattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh.They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and at few places in West Bengal and Sikkim and at isolated places in Orissa,Jhaekhand,Uttaranchal,Himachal pradesh,Jammu and Kashmir,east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, south Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Telangana, Rayalseema,Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka, Kerala, Andman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep and at mainly dry weather will prevail over the Bihar,Uttar Pradesh,Haryana,Punjab,Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat State and Konkan and Goa, north Madhya Maharashtra,coastal Andgra Pradesh, and coastal Karnataka.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Orissa, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Assam and Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and at few places in Gangetic West Bengal and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Chattisgarh.
