Four of a family runover in Bihar

Patna, May 06 (UNI) Altogether four members of a family, including three children, were killed and two injured by a speeding bus when they were sleeping by the side of a road near Lohiyanagar under Kankarbagh police station area here last night.

Police today said the driver of the bus of City Service lost control of his vehicle and ran over six people killing three of them on the spot. Later an injured child succumbed to his injuries in the hospital while the injured were undergoing treatment.

The victims were slum dwellers of Lohiyanagar and were sleeping by the side of the road side to avoid the excessive heat.

Raids were on to nab the driver.
