CRPF soldier commits suicide on leave denial for wedding
Sikar, May 6 (UNI) A Central Reserve Police Force soldier, posted in Jammu and Kashmir, allegedly committed suicide as he was denied leave for his marriage.
Ravi Kumar, hailing from Sikar district and posted in Karnpura in Jammu and Kashmir, was to get married on May 13. He allegedly committed suicide as he seemed troubled over not getting leave for his wedding, sources said.
His relatives have asked for investigation into his death. His family says his application probably never reached the right person who sanctioned leave.
Ravi Kumar had, however, asked his family to print the wedding cards and distribute them, sources said.
