Conduct time bound prob into sex racket, PDP to J
Srinagar, May 6 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a partner in the coalition government, has demanded time bound investigation into sex racket in which politicians, senior police and securty force officials are allegedly involved.
The PDP general secretary Mohammad Dilawar Mir in a statement here today hailed the government's decision to hand over the case to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). However, he demanded time bound investigation in the matter to bring the culprits to book.
Mr Mir said such immoral practices have badly hurt the sentiments of the people of Kashmir.
He also appreciated the Jammu and Kashmir High Court authorities for taking a strong notice of the reports about the alleged flesh trade and decided to initiate suo moto proceedings.
It also lauded Justice Bashir Ahmad Kirmani to notice the delicacy of the case and directing Register judicial to seek orders in the matter for its appropriate listening.
