Condition of Saifur Rehman stable
Hyderabad, May 6 (UNI) The condition of Bangladesh Finance Minister Saifur Rehman who was hospitalised after he collapsed during the Asiaan Development Bank (ADB) meet has improved remarkably over the last 24 hours.
He is likely to be shifted tomorrow from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Corporate Yashoda Hospital here.
''Mr Rehman has made remarkable recovery during the past 24 hours.
His vital parametres are stable. He regained complete consciousness and is now well oritented. His blood and urinary tract infection have been controlled effectively'', the hospital said in a release here tonight.
''He is still being closely monitored in the ICU by specialists.
Since he has been recovering rapidly'', the minister is most likely to be shifted out by tomorrow, the release said.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy visited Mr Saifur Rehman today morning and enquired about his well being.
The Chief minister had asked the doctors at the corporate hospital attending on Mr Rehman to provide him the best treatement.
