8 people injured in a bus accident in North 24 Parganas

Kolkata, May 6 (UNI) At least eight passengers were injured in a bus accident in VIP road near Laketown in North 24 Parganas this afternoon.

Police said here a rushing Kalyani Express bus from the city fell down in a road-side ditch injuring its passengers.

The injured people were sent to the hospital and released after first-aid, the SDPO (Bidhannagar) said.
