237 shops sealed on 29th day, demolitions in South Delhi's GK I

New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) sealed 237 properties on the 29th day of the drive today.

Sixty-three shops were sealed between 1700 hrs and 2000 Hrs yesterday.

The MCD also desealed 121 properties today while 168 shops were desealed between 1700 Hrs to 2000 Hrs yesterday.

More than 10,000 shops in residential areas have been sealed since the operation began on March 29.

Sealing action has already been completed in the city area.

In Burari Road areas of Civil Lines, the authority sealed 80 properties and 50 each were sealed in Central and Shahdara South (Zone).

Thirty-two units were sealed in West Delhi, 15 in Shahdara North and 10 in Rohini.

The MCD today carried out demolition work in various areas of South Delhi and Shahdara South Zone.

While nine shops were demolished in 'M' Block market of Greater Kailash, five residential-units-cum-shops were demolished in Ayanagar.
