New Delhi, May 5 (UNI) Delhi Police's Inspector Raman Lamba, who had arrested the accused in the sensational Jessica Lal murder case, was today transferred, along with some other officers.
Lamba, who was then a Sub-Inspector attached to the Auto Theft Section in South Delhi, had been criticised for not recovering the murder weapon (a pistol) at the time of arresting the accused.
However, police sources did not attach any significance to the transfer, terming it a ''routine'' and not specific.
Lamba, who was in the special cell, has been transferred to the Ist Battalion of the Delhi Armed Police (DAP).
