Sagar (MP), May 5: Senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Acharya Dharmendra has said no political party, including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is based on ''Hindutva.'' ''The BJP's constitution does not include Hindutva. It is a party with Gandhian, socialist, secular and democratic values'' Acharya Dharmendra told reporters here yesterday.
Commenting on firebrand leader Uma Bharti's newly-formed 'Bharatiya Janashakti (BJ)' party, he said there was no difference in the goals of the BJP and the BJ.
The VHP leader said no political party can become 'Hinduvadi' on the basis of speeches.
The Acharya said the VHP was taking steps towards accomplishing its aim of construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
