Film and TV Producers Guild mourns death of Naushad

New Delhi, May 5 (UNI) The Film and Television Producers' Guild today condoled the death of veteran Music composer Naushad describing him as one of the brilliant musicians in the History of the Indian film industry with his "unique blend of romanticism with the rustic beauty of Indian classical music".

''The death of renowned Music composer Naushad Ali, whose last composition was the recently released 'Taj Mahal-an Eternal Love Story', has truly left a huge void in Indian cinema which will remain unsatiated for the years to come, ''the Guild said in a condolence message.

''In a distinguished career across six decades, Naushad Ali enthralled audiences all over India with his melodious renditions.

The hallmark of his compositions was his unique blend of romanticism with the rustic beauty of Indian classical music. Most of his films achieved good commercial success,''the Guild said in its tribute to Naushad.

Naushad died at Mumbai's Nanavati hospital this morning.
