CNBC-TV18 and ICICI Bank award promising SMEs

New Delhi, May 5 (UNI) CNBC-TV18, ICICI and CRISIL India jointly announced the winners of CNBC-TV18 Emerging India awards to recognise the contribution of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) towards the growth of the Indian economy.

Suprajit Engineering, Bangalore was awarded in the Auto, Ancilliaries and Engineering section, Arch Pharmalabs in the Pharma and Chemicals section and AVT Natural products in the FMCG, food and and agribusiness section.

The award in the gems and jewellery section was given to Vaibhav Gems Ltd, textiles and apparel to Sabare International Ltd, Information Technology and Communications to People Interactive India Pvt Ltd respectively.

Action Construction Equipment Ltd got the award in the infrastructure section and MakeMyTrip India Pvt Ltd in the travel and tourism section, LNB textiles got honoured for retail trade whereas Fire Pro systems got the award in the commodity trade and others section.

Indian SMEs with a maximum net worth of Rs 75 crore were eligible for the award which saw a total of 35,000 entries.
