New Delhi, May 5 (UNI) India today extended an invitation to Nepalese Foreign Minister K P Sharma Oli to visit the country.
Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed sent a letter to Mr Oli, who is also Nepal's Deputy Prime Minster, inviting him to visit India.
''Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed has also written a letter of congratulations to the Foreign Minister of Nepal, K.P. Sharma Oli, expressing goodwill and inviting him to visit India,'' an External Affairs Ministry spokesman said here.
The spokesman denied any knowledge about whether Nepalese Prime Miniter G P Koirala would visit India shortly.
''I have no information on that,'' the spokesman said when asked whether it was true that Prime Minister G.P. Koirala would be paying a visit to India shortly.
