Aerens Goldsouk to start specialised malls of jewellery

Mumbai, May 05 (UNI) Aerena Goldsouk International Ltd today announced its expansion plan of developing 100 gold souks in 100 cities in India and abroad in next 100 months.

The 100 souks would be opened in a phased manner with the first phase comprising of gold souks in Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jaipur, Kochi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata, Areans Goldsouk director G S Pillai told reporters here.

''This will be followed by the other identified cities across the country while the company's foray in the international market will also be marked by the launch of gold souk in USA, UK, Canada, UAE, Thailand and China'', he added. The first gold souk in the country was launched in Gurgaon in 2004.

''We have received an extremely positive response for our first gold souk and it is our endeavour to extend this experience across India and abroad and transform the jewellery industry,'' he said.

According to Mr Gaurav Gupta, vice chairman and joint managing director, Aerens Goldsouk, ''it is our aim to bring India on the international map with the launch of specialised malls and in next 100 months our company will become the fastest growing company in the jewellery industry''.

Speaking on the occasion, Aerens Goldsouk chairman Surendra Gupta expressed the confidence that keeping in line with the company's core value of commitment and timely delivery, there would be a new revolution in the jewellery industry.
