Taslimuddin alleges police excess in Bihar
Kishanganj, May 04 (UNI) Union minister of state and RJD leader Taslimuddin has alleged police excess in Bihar and sought attention of the chief minister regarding deterioration of law and order situation in the state.
Talking to newspersons here ysterday Mr Taslimuddin, however, said that "we are not going to hit the road right now and would rather give some more time. After all the intentions of Nitish Kumar were pious and praisworthy.
Referring to some police-public confrontations at Kochadhaman, Rauto, Pauwakhali and Kasba where the former had to bear the brunt of mob fury for their alleged high-handedness in Purnia division, Mr Taslimudding pointed out. He said he would soon meet the Chief Minister and apprise him about the police excess.
The union minister also blamed the Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) for putting spokes in the wheels of Power Grid Corporation of India for improvement of power situation in Bihar and adding the BSEB should co-operate in the interest of the state instead of creating obstruction.
