New Delhi, May 4 (UNI) Seven persons, including six children, suffered burn injuries in an LPG cylinder blast at Sant Nagar in South Delhi this evening, fire brigade sources said.

The incident occured at 1540 Hours when an LPG cylinder caught fire in the Ambedkar Colony behind Chattarpur. As a result, the seven persons present in the house, including 18 year-old Hasan and six children - three male and three female, suffered burn injuries.

While four children suffered 35 per cent burn injuries two others as well as Hasan suffered 8 per cent burns.

The injured have been admitted to the Safdarjung Hospital, the sources said.

There was, however, no loss of property in the fire.
