Petrol Ministry denies reports of hike in petrol products

New Delhi, May 4: The Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry today denied media reports of a possible hike in the petroleum products.

According to an official release issued here today, the Ministry has described all those reports as speculative ones and further added that till today no decision has yet been taken of the issue of various petroleum products. The process of consultation is yet to begin and it will take some time for this process to be completed and hence any reports of price hike in the mean time are pure speculation and are baseless.
