Munnabhai fans get to see him again on screen from August 25

Mumbai, May 4 (UNI) ''Munnabhai 2nd innings'', the next chapter in Munnabhai's life is all set to release on August 25.

Comic film star Sanjay Dutt is once again in the lead role as the good hearted goon Munnabhai supported by Arshad Warsi as the inimitable Circuit.

''Munnabhai 2nd innings'' also stars Boman Irani and Jimmy Shergill who played significant roles in ''Munnabhai MBBS'' released two years ago.

Talking to reporters here, director Rajkumar Hirani said the new movie has Vidya Balan in lead and while actress Diya Mirza is in a supporting role. He said ''Munnabhai 2nd innings'' is not a sequel but another episode in the life of Munna and Circuit and their encounter with truth.

He said the film is being produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, music is by Shantanu Moitra, lyrics by Swanand Kirkire, cinematography by C K Muraleeedharan and production design by Nitin Desai.
