IVRS service commissioned on Konkan Railway route
Mumbai, May 4 (UNI) Konkan Railway has introduced Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) on its major stations in order to enable people to get telephonic information regarding status and availability.
A Konkan railway release here said that with the introduction of IVRS facility, service passengers travelling by Konkan Railway trains need not arrive early at stations for getting information about the status of their tickets or accommodation availability of the trains.
The IVRS has been opened at Ratnagri, Madgaon and Udupi stations and the information is available in local, Hindi and english languages.
For Ratnagiri, Madgaon and Udupi stations, the BSNL number in the same exchange area is 1330 while for accessing information from outside thee exchange area the numbers are 02352-229999, 0832-2700730 and 0820-2524533 respectively.
