HC grants bail to Avinash Sanas in MPSC scam

Mumbai, May 4 (UNI) The Bombay High Court has granted bail to Avinash Sanas, a former secretary to a State minister who was arrested in the MPSC scam.

Granting bail, yesterday, the court had directed Sanas to furnish a surety of Rs 10,000 and also to attend the office of the anti-corruption bureau (ACB) as and when required by them.

Sanas was arrested by the ACB two years ago for allegedly amassing disproportionate wealth to the tune of Rs 70 lakh.
