gupta pays homage to Mahajan on behalf of Lalu

New Delhi, May 4 (UNI) Union Company Affairs Minister Prem Chand Gupta laid a floral wreath on the body of BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, on behalf of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, in Mumbai today.

In a letter to Ms Rekha Mahajan, wife of late Pramod Mahajan, Mr Prasad expressed grief and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members.

''I am deeply grieved to learn the demise of your husband in Mumbai, on 3rd May, 2006. I extend my heart-felt condolences to you and your family. I pray to the Almighty to rest his soul in the lasting peace and give strength to your family to bear this irreparable loss. With profound grief&sorrow,'' Mr Prasad said in his letter.
