Bombs hurled at Cong leader's home

Jabalpur, May 4 (UNI) A Mahila Congress leader's local residence has been fired upon by three motorcycle-borne youths who also hurled crude bombs following a vehicle-related dispute, police said.

Local Mahila Congress President Sheela Thakur's Tulsinagar home was targeted late last night.

In her complaint, Ms Thakur named the attackers as Rinku Grover, Manish Patel and Dheeraj who were her son's friends but entered into a dispute over financial transactions linked with vehicle purchase.

Three rounds were discharged from a countrymade gun and about five bombs hurled.

Ms Thakur and her daughter Neetu Singh escaped unhurt.
