Bhubaneswar, May 4 (UNI) The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to stop Bhubaneswr-Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Inter city Express at Ponduru from May 15 on an experimental basis for six months.
A ECoR release issued here today said the decision to stop the Intercity Express was taken for the convenience of public and the demands of passengers.
The 8411 Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam Inter city Express will arrive Ponduru at 1123 hours and leave at 1125 hours for Visakhapatnam.
Similarly, in the return direction, the 8412 Visakhapatnam- Bhubaneswar Inter city Express will arrive Ponduru at 1612 hours and will leave at 1612 hours for Bhubaneswar.
The EcoR also decided to augment one more AC-3 tier coach in Puri-Howrah-Puri Summer Special train to avoid the rush of passengers.
The Puri-Howrah-Puri Summer Special train will now run with one AC-2 tier, two AC-3 tier, 9 sleeper class and 6 general second class coaches.
