New Delhi, May 4 (UNI) The Delhi Police have arrested a person hailing from Bihar for the brutal murder of his co-native at Nangloi in North Delhi last month, in a case police believe to be borne out of accused's illicit relation with the deceased's wife.

22-year-old Arvind Kumar, hailing from Madhubani in Bihar, was arrested by the West District police for murdering his co-native Kusheshwar Singh on April 29 after the latter came to know of the illicit relationship of the accused with his (Kusheshwar's wife) wife.

Police said Arvind developed an illicit relationship with the 45-year-old Kusheshwar's wife when the latter left his family at his native place during his visit to Delhi to seek livelihood. When Kusheshwar got to know of the affair, he brought his family to Delhi.

Thereafter, Arvind also wound up his business in Bihar and settled in the neighbourhood of Kusheshwar.

On April 29 Kusheshwar, who worked as a supervisor at a factory in Greater Noida, was shot at by Arvind as he was coming to his home in Nihal Vihar area from Noida for the weekend. Kusheshwar was later found by the police lying in an unconscious state. He was taken to the Sanjay Gandhi memorial hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Arvind was arrested with his paramour when the investigating team, on a tip off, raided a rented house of the accused in Durga Puri Park in Dabri area.
