Development projects in near future: CM

Imphal, May 04 : Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibibi Singh has announced that the state government will take up a number of developmental projects in near future.

Inaugurating a new urban health centre Art Singjamei in Imphal yesterday, the Chief Minister further said the people, specially youths should come forward and involve themselves in the developmental activities.

A cultural complex would be constructed at Konung Lampak and the Loktak downstream power project would be soon commissioned to generate more power, he added.

The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences would be upgraded to the status of AIIMS, New Delhi, he further mentioned.
