Westerlies plummet Max to 39.8 Deg C, Min to 21 Deg C,

New Delhi, May 3 (UNI) A fresh wave of Westerly winds today brought down the maximum temperature to 39.8 degrees Celsius and the minimum to 21.2 degrees Celsius, three degrees below normal.

However, the Meteorological department has forecast rise in the maximum temperature to 41 degrees C tomorrow.

Yesterday, the minimum temperature rose to 26.5 Degree C, three Degrees above normal. It was the second highest recorded this season.

Sunday recorded the highest minimum temperature-- 27.2 degrees C.

The maximum yesterday was 41 degree C, two degrees above normal.

The weatherman has also forecast a partly cloudy sky and dust haze in Delhi towards this evening.

The Meteorological department has also predicted a rise in both, the maximum and minimum temperature, during the coming days to 42 degrees C and 26 degrees C respectively.
