'Tickle my funny Bone' movie taken to court
Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Advocate Gerry Cohello moved Bombay High Court, objecting to the posters of the film 'Tickle my funny bone' and prayed to the court to seize the prints and ban the movie for hurting religious sentiments.
The petitioner claimed in his appeal that the poster depicted a nun in a bad light and hurt religious sentiments. This was an offence under the Indian Penal Code.
He further stated that the tag line on the poster: 'story of a sexy nun' was derogatory to the nuns and complained that neither the police nor the state had taken any action in this matter.
The case will come up for hearing today before a division bench comprising Justice D G Deshpande and Justice V K Tahilramani.
