Thapar to attend Mahajan's funeral on behalf Akali Dal (Badal)

New Delhi, May 3 (UNI) Akali Dal (Badal) general secretary Onkar Singh Thapar will be attending the funeral of BJP leader Pramodh Mahajan in Mumbai.

Mr Thapar told UNI here this evening that he was leaving for Mumbai to attend the funeral of the deceased BJP leader on behalf of his party.

His party expressed shock and grief over the death of Mr Mahajan who battled for life in a hospital for about a week after his younger brother shot him thrice from point-blank range.
