Sunil Gulati appointed Gp President of YES Bank

Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Private sector banking major YES Bank today announced the appointment of Mr Sunil Gulati as its Group President and Head-Risk Management &Corporate Development.

Prior to joining YES Bank, Mr Gulati was the Managing Director of GE Commercial Finance.

As the Chief Risk Officer, Mr Gulati will provide overall leadership and direction for bank-wide risk management while simultaneously developing a robust framework for the bank's growth across corporates, SME, retail, private banking and financial markets activities, an official release said.

Mr Gulati with a track record of over 20 years in a variety of roles in the banking sector will also champion growth initiatives of YES Bank to establish, launch and grow business entities across a broad range of financial services through new investments, alliances and possible acquisitions, the release said.

Announcing the appointment, Mr Rana Kapoor, Managing Director and CEO of the bank, said that ''YES Bank is delighted to have Sunil Gulati join the top management team.'' UNI JJ KD AW1515
