Sachin Tendulkar felicitated on International Wish Day

Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar was today felicitated on the International Wish Day as the ''Celebrity Wish Granter of the Decade'' for fulfilling the wishes of the largest number children to meet him.

The function was organised by Make-a-Wish Foundation of India in association with The Walt Disney Company India Ltd here yesterday to celebrate the International Wish day on completion of a decade of fulfilling its mission in India.

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu was also felicitated for being the ''Highest Individual Donor'' in 2005 for contributing her share of the prize money won in Kaun Banega Crorepati II (KBC 2), though she could not make it due to illness, but sent a message.

The event was attended by Wish children, volunteers, supporters, Tendulkar's wife Anjali Tendulkar, former India team mate Ajay Jadeja, Bollywood actor Perizad Zorabian and Channel V VJ Gaurav.
