Pravin's family members not to attend Mahajan's funeral

Thane, May 3 (UNI) Family members of Pravin Mahajan, whose shot his elder brother Pramod Mahajan wounding him seriously leading to his demise this evening, will not attend the funeral at Shivaji Park, Dadar, tomorrow.

A team of police personnel went to Pravin Mahajan's residence here late this evening when Pravin's wife Sarangi told them that none of the family members would attend the funeral.

''None of my family members will be able to attend the funeral'', she told the police.

Pravin has twins--a son and daughter The police, meanwhile, has stepped up the security around the building 'Jinja', in which Pravin has been staying.

Pravin, who pumped in three bullets from a point blank range on his elder brother at the latter's Worli residence, was today sent to judicial custody by a local court in Mumbai.

Pravin was informed of the death of his brother by the police and also by the jail authorities after he was moved there this evening.
