Novotel Hyderabad hosts ADB annual meeting delegates

Hyderabad, May 3 (UNI) Emaar Properties, the world's largest property developer, celebrates the opening of its first fullscale hotel 'the Novotel Hyderabad' by hosting delegates of the 39th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The four-day annual meeting begining today is being held at India's largest and technologically advanced convention facility, the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) which is adjacent to the hotel and is connected so that one can walk directly from the hotel lobby built by Cyberabad Centre Private Limited, a joint venture between Dubai-based Emaar Properties and the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporatgion Limited (APILC). The 287 room Novotel Hyderabad is managed by Accor, one of the world's largest hotel groups.

''The Navotel Hyderabad offers India's growing sector a state-of-the-art destination with an adjacent premier convention facility in terms of capacity and technological facilities. The opening of the hotel has been on schedule to concide with the Asian Development Bank meeting and it is a testimony to all involved-from Larsen&Tourbo with the consturuction,'' the company said in a release here today.

''Our partnership with the Andhra Pradesh government has been extremely successful and we look forward to expanded relationships in the state and elsewhere in the subcontinent. India is an important partner country for Emaar and we are excited to be conducting serious business in a market that is going to develop into several multiples of what we see today.'' The Novotel Hyderababd is in close proximity to Hitec City, Hyderabad's IT business sector and offers outstanding facilities for business and leisure travellers.

Stretching across 15 acres, the HICC, which opened its doors early this year is an integrated 291,000 sq.ft facility, also managed by Accor and offers 4,000 seating capacity with an in-built flexibility to expand to 6,500 seats.

The Novotel Hyderabad and HICC are part of an integrated development that features a world-class leisure and residential township, IT park, an exclusive 5-star boutique hotel, 18-hole championship golf course and various retail options.
