Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Global store automation solutions major NCR Corporation, today launched its retail automation offerings for the Indian retail market by inking a national tie-up with the Hyderabad-based Tyche Peripheral Systems Ltd.
This agreement with Tyche Peripheral Systems also includes point-of-sale (POS) solutions and kiosks for the Indian retail market, said a release, adding that under the agreement, Tyche Peripheral Systems will be responsible for the sales and support of NCR retail solutions to Indian retailers.
NCR's Management Centre in Mumbai will provide remote support services to customers.
NCR's POS solutions will be targeted at general merchandise and specialty retailers, the hospitality industry and the fast-growing entertainment industry (multiplexes).
NCR retail solutions division India and South East Asia General Manager Shrihari Bhat said, ''the fast growing retail market makes it imperative for retailers to automate their transactions with point-of-sale (POS) solutions to increase their competitiveness in the demanding environment.
