Mahajan was born in Mahabubnagar in AP

Hyderabad, May 3 (UNI) BJP General Secretary Pramod Mahajan was born in the Mahabubnagar district of Andhra Pradesh.

He was born on October 30, 1949. His father, a teacher in a railway school had been transferred there.

He used to be very fond of Mahabubnagar district and the people from the district used to say that he always treated them with affection during their visits to New Delhi and render all possible help.

His daughter also has an Andhra Pradesh connection as she is married to Anand, an employee of the Lanco group in this state.
