Srinagar, May 3 (UNI) ''It is absolutely beautiful...stunning and one of the most picturesque grounds in the country,'' said former Indian fast bowlers Javagal Srinath and T A Sekhar about the Sher-i-Kashmir cricket stadium here.

The two Indian pacers were overwhelmed by the beauty of the picturesque cricket stadium which has magificient Chinar trees as boundary walls.

However, they said the ground needs to be brought at par with other test and one-day venues before any international match was played here.

Srinath, the former pace spearhead, and Sekhar, the MRF Pace Foundation chief coach, played together for Team India in few Test matches and one-day internationals in 1983.

They were here for two days to hold trials for more than 400 young fast bowlers of Jammu and Kashmir.
