Dam protection law to be enacted in Maharashtra

Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) The Maharashtra Cabinet today approved a proposal to prepare a dam protection legislation draft.

Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh told reporters after the weekly Cabinet meeting here today that the decision has been taken for the protection of dams and reservoirs in their vicinity.
