Century Enka Q4 net plunges 86 pc, dividend at Rs 6 per share

Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Century Enka Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 3.66 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 26.10 crore for the same quarter lastyear, a fall of 85.97 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of Excise) has increased from Rs 250.43 crore in Q4 FY 05 to Rs 262.02 crore for Q4 FY 06.

It has posted a net profit of Rs 17.59 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 52.56 crore for the previous fiscal year. Total income (net of Excise) has increased from Rs 964.09 crore in FY 05 to Rs 1,005.03 crore for FY 06.

The board of directors has recommended dividend of Rs 6.00 per equity share for the year ended March 31, 2006.
