BoR to distribute United India Insurance's mediclaim policy

Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Leading private sector banking major Bank of Rajasthan (BoR) has entered into a strategic alliance with United India Insurance Company Limited (UIICL) to distribute the latter's mediclaim policy--Raj Bank Arogya Nidhi Scheme.

The product will be distributed to corporates and individuals through the offices of BoR, a Bank release said today.

Currently the bank is acting as a corporate agent of UIICL for distributing non-life insurance products to its large customer base.

The move is expected to improve the fee-based income of the bank as also provide value-addition to its customers.

Bank Chairman Pravin Kumar Tayal said that ''the alliance with United India Insurance will help us offer mediclaim policies and move up the value chain and offer more products to our over two million customers.'' UNI JJ KD AW1713
