Armenian airliner disappears over S Russia-TASS

LONDON, May 3 (Reuters) An Armenian Airlines aircraft carrying about 100 people on a flight from Yerevan to the Black Sea resort of Sochi has disappeared from radar screens, Itar-Tass news agency, monitored by the BBC, said today.

Itar-Tass quoted Viktor Beltsov, deputy head of Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry's information department, as saying the aircraft was an Airbus 320 and vanished from radar screens near Sochi.
